Warranty and Returns
GLOBAL guarantees any product that it sells to be free from defect in material, construction or workmanship under normal use and following the care instructions.
This excludes damage caused by misuse or accident. The warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser. Chips in the knife blades, broken knife tips, discoloration from food and rust spots are not covered. Knife chips and broken knife tips can often be repaired by re-sharpening.
EXEMPTION FROM GUARANTEE
- Damage caused from misuse, improper use or accident:
- Misuse cutting hard substances such as frozen foods, bones, hard nuts, hard cheese etc.
- Improper use using item as a screwdriver, can or bottle opener, etc.
- Accident dropping knife on the floor or hitting against other hard surfaces.
- Should a purchased product leave the United States, the country in which this warranty is valid, the warranty becomes void.
- Rust and discoloration stemming from inadequate after care.
- Return postage is not covered.
The following procedures and conditions should be adhered to by the purchaser. These are designed to assist distinguishing genuine GLOBAL products from any counterfeit products.

RETURN POLICY
The following policies apply to all returns:
REFUNDS
Full refunds only apply to purchases made directly from globalcutleryusa.com and not our retail partners. All refund requests for orders made outside of globalcutleryusa.com must go through the original place of purchase as per their refund policy.
- For a full refund, you must contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order. You must have your receipt to receive a refund in the original tender.
- Merchandise must be UNOPENED or UNUSED to qualify for a refund.
- Return postage is not covered.
- Please allow 10 - 14 days for the refund to be applied after we receive your return
- All approved refunds will go back to the original payment method (gift card, credit card, etc).
WARRANTY
- If you believe a product to be defective, it may be returned based on the warranty specific to the item. This warranty is included in the original packaging. Please refer to it before attempting to return the item.
- All returns must have a Returns Authorization Merchandise (RMA) number. The RMA number will allow our Warranty department to associate your returned item with your purchase to ensure swift resolution of your return claim.

- For all approved claims, please allow 4-6 weeks from the time we receive your package for your replacement order to be processed.
- This timeframe may be modified if the item is on backorder status and a comparable substitute is not available.
- If you have an inquiry on the status of your claim, please email scanpanwarranty@scanpan.com and provide your full name and assigned RA number for reference.
- GLOBAL CUTLERY reserves the right to determine if the product has been used in a manner that would violate the warranty.
- GLOBAL CUTLERY is not responsible for items lost in transit or items sent without an approved RMA.
- Accessories are not covered by the Warranty.
TIPS FOR PROPER KNIFE CARE AND STORAGE
- Please do not leave food residue on the knife. After use, wash immediately in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. The acid and/or fat and moisture of food residue can cause rust and discoloration to the knife.
- Please do not put GLOBAL knives in a dishwasher. The harsh environment during the wash cycle will harm the knife and in turn, cause corrosion.
- Always store GLOBAL knives in a dry atmosphere. It is recommended to store GLOBAL knives either in a GLOBAL Knife Block or on our Magnetic Knife Rack.
